Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 15, 2026

The short version: We collect account information and the wellness, activity, planning, and reminder data you choose to save so the app can work. Your individual results are never shared with employers or third parties. If your organization uses État d'Âme, they see only anonymized, department-level aggregates — never your personal scores or responses.

1. Who we are

État d'Âme is a cognitive wellness platform that helps individuals understand how they think, focus, and recover. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our platform at etatdamepsych.com and related services.

This policy applies to the individual-facing version of État d'Âme. For enterprise or clinical deployments, a separate data processing agreement governs data handling.

2. What we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you give us directly:

Information collected automatically:

Optional Google Calendar connection: If you connect Google Calendar, we process your Google account email, granted scopes, encrypted OAuth credentials, and the event details needed to show your schedule in the planner, such as event title, start and end time, all-day status, and availability. The integration is read-only; État d'Âme does not request permission to create, change, or delete Google Calendar events.

Some information you voluntarily enter may relate to wellbeing, mood, attention, or work habits. État d'Âme is not a medical record system, and we do not ask you to provide diagnoses or treatment records. We do not track your activity outside of État d'Âme, except for calendar data you expressly authorize through the optional integration.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train AI models for third parties.

4. Employer access and organizational programs

Your individual data is yours alone. If you access État d'Âme through an employer-sponsored program, your employer receives only aggregated, de-identified reports at the department or team level — never your individual scores, responses, or any information that could identify you personally.

Aggregate reports require a minimum group size before any data is surfaced, further protecting individual privacy. You will always be informed if your account is associated with an organizational program.

5. Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

These providers act as data processors on our behalf. They are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics platforms.

6. Data retention

We retain account information and the app data connected to your account while your account is active. You can start a deletion request from Settings or email privacy@etatdame.com. After we verify the request, we will delete your authentication account and directly identifying app data within 30 days. Disconnecting Google Calendar removes the stored connection credentials; account deletion removes them as part of the deletion process.

Limited residual copies may remain temporarily in provider backups or security logs according to their protected rotation schedules or where retention is legally required. We do not use those copies for ordinary product operations. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained only when it can no longer reasonably be linked to you.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

To request deletion, select “Request account deletion” in Settings. For access, correction, export, deletion, or other privacy requests, contact us at privacy@etatdame.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Not medical advice

État d'Âme is a wellness and self-awareness tool, not a medical device or clinical service. The assessment and results are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a medical diagnosis, mental health evaluation, or treatment recommendation.

If you have concerns about your mental health, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice in the platform before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
